Busy, busy…. did I mention BUSY? There have been many exciting ventures that I have been a part of lately.
Curt Smith (of Tears For Fears) released his latest solo CD, "Halfway, pleased", as an independent release in the United States. A special edition version will be released shortly and it is one that you will definitely want to get. The extras alone will be worth the price. You can check out Curt’s site for more details. In fact, last evening was the official CD release party in Los Angeles for Curt. It was a nice affair as Curt, Nick D’Virgilio, Charlton Pettus and Doug Petty performed select tracks from "Halfway, pleased" along with a couple of Tears For Fears classics. More exciting Curt Smith news/performances coming in the next few weeks. Definitely check back regularly.
I can finally announce that my media company finalized the deal with +LIVE+ to design and construct their new stage set for their summer tour. We are in the middle of production and look to have it ready to go for their DVD filming later this month. +LIVE+ are headlining a summer tour with Collective Soul and Blues Traveller. A few of my staff and I will be attending the local shows (Greek Theatre & Pechanga) next month. Make sure you see this tour. It looks to be a great one in the making!
Spock’s Beard have a new CD/DVD coming out on June 24th. Nick D’Virgilio stopped by the studio here this past week to hang out and gave details about the release and the current state of the band and their plans. Dave Meros also called in and enlightened us with his words of wisdom. Gotta love the Meros! Catch Spock’s Beard in Europe and the U.S. if possible.
